Our Student Ministries are weekly gatherings for fifth through twelfth grade students. These gatherings provide students with the opportunity to connect with God, with other students, and with older committed leaders that are dedicated to seeing students grow closer to Christ. We believe that you can't do life alone, and that our students are at a unique time of life where they can grasp the Gospel and the impact of having the life of Jesus in their lives.
Our Student Ministries are divided by age into three group: 56 Preteen Ministries, Junior High, and Senior High.
56 Preteen Ministries is where our 5th and 6th grade students meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
Sunday Mornings - 56 Preteen Ministries meets during our Sunday service times of 9 and 10:45 a.m. in the 56 Preteen Ministries room (1403). Students get to join their friends for energetic worship, a meaningful lesson, and a time to share with one another in small groups.
Wednesday Nights - 56 Preteen Ministries meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the 56 Preteen Ministries room (1403). Students participate in a devotional time and then get to play games in the 56 Preteen Ministries room or the gym. Wednesday nights are great opportunity to invite your friends for a fun time.
Summit Student Ministries is designed for our Junior High (Grades 7 & 8) and High School (Grades 9-12) students.
Sunday Mornings - Our students are encouraged to attend the Equip class starting in the fall at 9 a.m. in room 1217. Following that, students sit together during the 10:45 a.m. service. This is an excellent time for students to connect with one another while also being an active part of the VNC Tribe.
Sunday Nights - Beginning August 20, students in Grades 9-12 will meet in the Youth Center on Sunday nights from 6-8 p.m. This includes diving into God's Word, breaking into small groups, and playing games.
Wednesday Nights - Grades 7-8 meet together in the Youth Center on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. for an activity time. Following the activities, there will be a short sermon followed by small group discussion.
