Our Student Ministries are weekly gatherings for fifth through twelfth grade students. These gatherings provide students with the opportunity to connect with God, with other students, and with older committed leaders that are dedicated to seeing students grow closer to Christ. We believe that you can't do life alone, and that our students are at a unique time of life where they can grasp the Gospel and the impact of having the life of Jesus in their lives.
Our Student Ministries are divided by age into three group: 56 Preteen Ministries, Junior High, and Senior High.
56 Preteen Ministries is where our 5th and 6th grade students meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.
Sunday Mornings - 56 Preteen Ministries meets during our Sunday service times of 9 and 10:45 a.m. in the 56 Preteen Ministries room (1403). Students get to join their friends for energetic worship, a meaningful lesson, and a time to share with one another in small groups.
Wednesday Nights - 56 Preteen Ministries meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the 56 Preteen Ministries room (1403). Students participate in a devotional time and then get to play games in the 56 Preteen Ministries room or the gym. Wednesday nights are great opportunity to invite your friends for a fun time.
Fall Retreat - The 56 Preteen Ministries Fall Retreat will be November 11-13 at Shiloh Park in Marion, IN. The cost per student is $90 by October 24 and $115 after. Download or view the Registration Form.
Summit Student Ministries is designed for our Junior High (Grades 7 & 8) and High School (Grades 9-12) students.
Sunday Mornings - Our students are encouraged to attend one of our worship services at 9 or 10:45 a.m. Students sit together during both services. On Sundays at 10:15 a.m., students meet together in the Youth Center for a devotional time that ties into that Sunday's service. This is an excellent time for students to connect with one another while also being an active part of the VNC Tribe.
Wednesday Nights - Grades 7-12 meet together in the Youth Center on Wednesday nights at 6:00 p.m. for an activity time. Following the activities, the Junior High and Senior High groups split up for small group time with our Summit Student Ministries staff.
